Volunteering with TGPC
Want to spend time with like minded property investors, and hang out with The Good Property Company, enjoying seeing how our team delivers? If you have a bit of graft about you and enjoy helping people, then we’d love to have you apply to become a part of our Event Crew, here at The Good Property Company.
The Event Crew are a rocking bunch of people, who support all of TGPC’s events; the Flagship Mentoring Programme, Property Entrepreneur here in Bristol, the series of London based workshops, and Susie’s talks round the country at Property Events.
We plan our Events in advance, so that you have the dates in your diary early. We are always over subscribed for volunteer crew at every event, so we keep it fair by ensuring in advance that you get the best crack at volunteering to be Crew for the event you chose.
We have a wonderful Event Crew, and we would welcome you being a part of the Crew, and benefiting from the knowledge shared by Susannah, whilst helping support our events, and the delegates there to drive their property businesses forward.
Requirements: Make good tea, be ace at cutting cake slices for tons of folks, have a great attitude, a sunny and welcoming disposition, be organised, great to be with and be able to jump into sorting out the (very) occasional last minute emergencies!
Example: James cycled (HERO) to our office to pick up the keys for a property visit when we realised we have left them behind, d’oh!
Example: Erica zipped to buy a gluten free cake to celebrate the birthday of one of our Mentees, when we realised the cake we had ordered, for 50 of us, was not exactly gluten free, d’oh!
Example: Timekeeping: Keeping Susannah, who loves sharing property information, to time. Good luck in that one!
Example: Making sure all our delegates and mentees feel warmly welcomed to our events, and are well looked after, TGPC style.
Then email your completed application form to email@example.com
See you soon at one of our Fab events!
"Before joining the TGPC mentoring group event crew, I already owned a portfolio of let properties, all of which I had refurbished to some degree, and amongst which was a courtyard development of 6 flats which I had created from a collection of derelict shops. However, the challenges of ownership since 2008 had deterred me from making further purchases and my confidence had declined noticeably.
Assisting on the mentoring course and sitting in on the sessions have restored that confidence , shown me how to leverage my time, and shown me how to attract joint venture investors, as a result of which I am engaged now in transactions to augment my let portfolio, to buy a site to create six flats from two houses, and to buy a bungalow on a large site and get planning permission to replace the bungalow with three or four 4 bed houses."
